Updated: we ran into some trouble with the guy that came out to the house to fix our shower. We reached out to them wanting to get it fixed. The owner eventually reached out to me and talked to me about the issue and after an apology and explanation he gave me the peace of mind and made things right. He was a very nice and friendly man.
