The nurse practitioner made a comment about me being 30 years old with acne outside of the door before she came in, and then she was trying to push the sell for products. The medicine she prescribed had my face burning and itching.
Not happy with my first time back with the new NP. The practice is dishonest. I was told one thing and the price was another. I will not be returning. Not sure if they overcharge their black clients but one thing for sure, this was not professional.
Dr Heather Newlon is a exceptional dermatologist. She has the knowledge, skills, and experience that places her at the top of her profession.
I was looking for a dermatologist closer to home to follow up on an autoimmune disease and decided to see Dr Newlon. The check in process was easy and the staff was very professional. There was a bit of a wait but personally I don't find that unusual for a specialist. Dr Newlon was very thorough and knowledgeable. She listened to my complaints without making me feel rushed.
I was treated like a quack after having this skin problem for months. They didn't listen to my case history when I tried to tell them, they cut me off as if they didn't have time and were impatient.. I have always had eczema and have it under control, but this is different, it doesn't react well with the eczema treatment but does for fungal infection medicine. Nope they said they said I was wrong.
