The McClaren experience spans over 20 years for us and we have never been disappointed. We chose to replace our 21 year old central air when it gasped its last breath in June. Gary, in sales was thorough and gave us all the options to enable making a decision. I was most impressed by the team that arrived on install day. A few years ago, we had a problem with our old air conditioning unit that couldn't be diagnosed by 2 local HVAC-companies. One of our friends recommend McClaren; they came over and were able to identify and fix the problem quickly. Fast forward to today, and they installed both a new AC- and a heating system. Their service is great, and their technicians are knowledgeable and personable. I've dealt mostly with Mike and Shawn; they are meticulous and clear communicators. Highly recommend this crew!

Great service and communication! We reached out to McClaren after a power surge took out our A/C. They were able to come by the same day, diagnose the problem, order a replacement part and had it installed, with the system fixed, two days later. Mike was awesome to work with and we couldn't recommend them enough!

Wow, what a company! From start to finish, everyone was knowledgeable and courteous. They did a great job putting in our mini split and enlarging one of our central air ducts. Gary came out and did the quote and had the best ideas for how to solve our cooling problems compared to the other companies/quotes we got. Arthur, the owner, then does a walk-through afterward to make sure everything looks great which we really appreciated. I had a very disappointing experience with this company. They installed my Multi-Split AC system, and when it stopped working in mid-June, I called them to diagnose the issue. The technician came out, said there was a refrigerant leak, and recommended adding freon to keep the system running until September. I trusted their judgment and paid $400 for the service. Two weeks later, the AC completely stopped working again. When I called the company back, they simply said the leak was worse than they expected and now a full repa... read more
