Me ad my husband has been looking for a boat Mechanic, so we've been asking our friends if they knew anybody. So they recommended us to mccartney's outboard motor repair. So we went by there to talk to the guys and they told us to bring it and within less than. A week's time are our boat was fixed. We was satisfand we recommend this company to anybody. They're friendly fast service and I give 5 out of 5.
My friend took his boat there, to have the shift cables replaced, they kept putting him off, on giving him a price. The son said, he’d been out of town , so that’s the reason , it was taking so long. When he went to get his boat, since they would not give him a price, he noticed they had taken the starter, fly wheel, carburator & power pack off of it. He’s going, to take them, to Small Claims Court, just to be reimbursed, for the parts, they took off & kept. We wouldn’t recommend, this business, to anyone!
I used to take my boat here when Chris McCarty had it. He doesn't have it anymore. Avoid this place at all costs. I took my boat in to have carburetor work done to it. The guy supposedly took my carburetors apart and cleaned them and put a solenoid on my motor all within a span of about 3 hours. I went and I picked my boat up. The first time I ran it, ran absolutely horrible. I paid this guy $653 to fix my boat and I got robbed. I took it to another boat repair dealer he opened the carburetors.
