I saw Dr McCarthy when I was suffering from deep depression and PTSD along with many disabling medical conditions. She was the 1st counselor who didn't treat me like I should be able to answer all the why questions and fix myself. If I knew all the answers I would need a counselor. She helped me work through issues, especially my PTSD issues.
