I was looking to buy a replacement wedding band, a 3mm plain yellow gold band. After waiting for no discernible reason to see the bands on display when getting quoted for price I was told this was a "ladies ring" by one of the other attendants. I'm a male but don't see why the comment was necessary or appropriate as the ring wasn't feminine. Went across to Holdsworths instead and bought a band without any snide comments.

Bought a Swiss watch with bracelet as a gift, special order, and the staff were great. Promised too just return and they would resize the bracelet on site. On returning , different staff, absolutely no idea what they were doing, would stop to serve other customers, doubted that I purchased at store despite never checking their system. Eventually stated no one their could adjust it. Staff eventually called the manager who confirmed the sale, and sent me to the jeweller a few stores away to get it adjusted at the stores expens... read more
