Had a written quote for two watches that were for the birth of our last child. Reached out again when the child was born. Different person on email said they couldn’t confirm the price over email (even though they had already done so) and that I had to come in store to put a deposit down. Terrible Experience with Warranty at Mazzucchelli’s Midland Back in 2012, we purchased a beautiful engagement ring from Mazzucchelli’s Midland for $6,000, enticed by their promise of a lifetime warranty that covered cleaning and adjustments. We had sent the ring away with them several times , no issues . Purchased engagement ring, stone fell out twice within 12 months due to design flaw (lack of claws and fault on a claw). After the stone fell out the first time we purchased lifetime warranty (over $700). Head office then tried to charge us for a clean then offered a discount for it, when it was in fact meant to be covered by the warranty. They keep changing the price of their repair quote (which there shouldn’t be a cost at all).
