We went to the buffet and the salad bar was great. The pizza and desserts were dry, like they were over cooked or left out too long. The atmosphere was ok. I wish they would change this "atmosphere" question to something about the "facilities". I know "atmosphere" is a more generic term, but it could be taken as a question about the people in the "atmosphere", not the physical atmosphere of the business. Came in to get a salad and some breadsticks. It took 45 minutes to get the breadsticks. It wasn’t busy at all.
Came in here for the buffet craving a salad. I remember when their salads were the best. So disappointing to realize that they serve the lettuce stale. Gross
Every time we come here, this manager or cook or whatever she is has been the main issue. This last time we placed a pick up order where I asked for plates on the order. My wife get there and asks for plates from the front counter person. She goes to ask the manager where the plates were, and the manager spends the next ten minutes lecture her because mazzio doesn't give out plates just because they are on the order and they need to ask for them when they are here. We stopped by Mazzio's while I was in town visiting my children and grandchildren, and it turned into a meal with some very high highs—and one unforgettable low. We arrived around 3:00 p.m., well after the lunch rush, so the restaurant was quiet with only a handful of other customers. One thing that immediately stood out was the staff.
