Absolute Heaven! This is pretty much my favorite place on Earth. The scent that wafts over you as you wander through the market is fantastic. Ask any question you have, they will help you choose a cheese, a wine, a coffee... The bakery is sinful, and the prepared-meals deli and coffee bars are always jam-packed. I'm here several times a week - they tell me there are regulars who are there several time a day!
Favorite market in St. Pete You cannot leave without buying twice as much as you set out to. They have so many new and unique items you leave with a full basket. The smell of fresh bread hits you as you enter- take a look at their homemade pastas (I recommend the lobster ravioli) and sauces (the Rosa is delicious) and their prepared items (check out the pasta salads, at least 10 of em a day). Everything for the gourmand Mmmm - walking into Mazzaro brings the smells of a different world. Sausages, cheeses, breads - offerings with old world flavors and taste. Hearty wood fired breads are worlds away from white bread from the local grocery. They are perfect for adding interesting items to your next wine and cheese party or get together. Perfect Italian Bakery Mazzaro's is a wonderful Italian Bakery/Market Place. My family has been going there for years. They have the best premaid italian food we have ever had. The breads are divine. Nice and crusty, beautiful. If you really want to make an "authentic" italian meal, Mazzaro's can supply you with the needs to do so!
