Terrible customer service. Nobody answers the phone. I canceled my membership and they are still billing me. Was told to email Rob. Sent 3 emails and have left 8 messages and one text with no return call. I also stopped by the gym. Who runs a business like this? I called the billing department and they told me to call Mayweather Oceanside. Do not join this place. It is run so bad. The new ownership should try returning calls! I am extremely frustrated.
I loved going to Mayweather until I broke my ankle in September and had to freeze my membership. I haven't been cleared to go back yet due to a huge setback during my recovery. They have now billed me and my daughter (she's 13 so can't drive herself) for 3 months. There are also two random charges from them with no explanation as to what they are for. I put my membership on pause due to a shoulder injury. Before the pause was over, I called and emailed to fully cancel back in October. I’ve been charged 3 times now despite multiple phone calls, emails, and dropping in to speak to the trainers in person. I am going to dispute with my credit card if this doesn’t get resolved.
Absolutely love Mayweather Boxing! The energy is positive, motivating, and welcoming. The workouts are fun, but challenging. The coaches are incredibly attentive and make sure you're using the right form, whether you're a beginner or more advanced. Shout out to my favorite coach JC! 🫶The environment is completely drama-free and inclusive. Everyone is welcome here, no matter your fitness level or background. Highly recommend!
Gym is clean, well-equipped, staffed, and automated simply with their app and amazing service. Trainers are attentive and engaging. Great community to workout with as well. They have payment plans for every type of person available in monthly basis and longer installments for valuable discounts. Beginner friendly, and alongside classes, you can come in and work on your own during open hours.
