Met Dr Mayran Rios last week for a consultation before gallbladder surgery, I've had a couple of these meetings over the years and part of the devine whimsy of life my daughter had emergency gallbladder surgery a couple of weeks ago. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Rios and her team, especially Ashley. The surgery was successful and my dad feels so much better now. Dr. Rios is professional and her skills are unmatched. And I also want to mention about communication, she is clear, respectful and patience and answered all my questions about the surgery to prepare for it with knowledge. My experience with Dr. Rios was disappointing. Although the surgery itself went okay, the communication throughout the process was lacking. I often left appointments with unanswered questions and felt that my concerns weren’t adequately addressed. Additionally, her bedside manner left much to be desired—I frequently felt rushed and unheard. I sincerely hope future patients have a more positive experience.
Dr. Rios is kind, caring, knowledgeable and explained every little detail of the surgery I was having, listen to all my concerns and answered all my questions and made sure that I felt confident and totally comfortable with the procedure.
