Beautiful place to stay and visit. Rooms are so spacious, very clean and tidy. The curtains are blackout so you aren't awakened bright and early. However something has to be said for being up and early looking out at the beautiful view listening to the birds. Accommodation is right in the centre of town, not noisy at all. Easy parking. Palmwoods is a 10mins drive down the rd where we purchased takeaway pizza 1 night and had dinner at Ricks Garage another. Hands down best view in montville. Loved our ocean view rooms. They're big and spacious with a huge deck to sit out on. Comfortable beds and an amazing spa bath. Loved our stay here and will be definitely coming back.

We recently stayed at Mayfair on Montville in a beautiful, large apartment with amazing views all the way to the sea. We woke to a fabulous sunrise too. There was one aspect of our stay that was disappointing. The woman at reception at the Montville Mountain Inn, where we have stayed many times before, and where we were directed to pick up our key, was very unpleasant to the extent of being quite rude. I would expect anyone working in such a role to be welcoming, and most certainly not speak to guests as if they are annoying... read more

Beautiful spot, lovely room with amazing views, comfortable beds. Could not fault anything about this place.
