In Q4 2024, we bought a house and asked Mayfield if they would install additional flooring to match what we already had. They insulted the quality of the product the prior owner already had installed and said it was beneath them to match and install it. They sold us another product instead (it was comparatively inexpensive, but they agreed to install it!). What a massive disappointment. We were so excited to finally get our 2nd floor floors fixed to stop the constant creaking, but this turned into a complete disaster. We scheduled the work about a month in advance. Since we have young kids and all of the upstairs bedrooms were being recarpeted, staying in the home wasn’t realistic, so we rented an Airbnb to accommodate the project.
