At Mayfair John Young "At Mayfair Pet Hospital the staff is very kind and generous. I came to them with my dog Poochie (a Shih TZU) who was very dehydrated and non-responsive. After spending half the night at a 24 hour emergency vet (who overcharged me $500.00 for 4 hours of care) Mayfair and their staff were kind enough to put my doggie on fluids until the Doctor Young came in at 8:30am...I am so appreciative of the staff at Mayfair and would recommend everyone to give them a try. What a great vet! Pets are a part of the family and here are treated as such. The staff is caring and knowlegable, the prices very reasonable. This is a clean facility with docs who don't order extra tests or meds just to bring in the bucks. They treat both you and your pet with professionalism and understanding, making it less traumatic if you are there for an emergency or just routine shots. We won't go anywhere else!
My two American bull dogs My two American bull dogs (versace and Amarni) have Been patients there for five years. All the doctors are great I personally love Dr. Whaley. He is a very caring vet. He talks to my dogs as he examines them Pets them and when they come in with their terrible skin allergies he shows a lot of concern he treats them as if they were his own., He makes sure that when my spouse and I leave with the dogs we understand the instructions with the medications. Dog Owner I own a 8+ year old Jack Russell Mix that I adopted at a SPCA in St Cloud Florida and have had very little medical issues short of the typical allergies from weather changes or dog food changes. He was routinely given all his vaccinations and was generally in great health. He was on Hart guard and topical solution for fleas and ticks. This is considered responsible pet ownership. Great Care for man's best friend Our dogs have always received the best of care at this Vet's office. The receptionist makes great effort to keep appointments flowing on time and the staff treats all pets as friends of the family. Many products available for purchase at reasonable prices. Clean and efficient.
EWolf, a satisfied customer. I have had animals all my life and have visited many vets in the area and must say that my visits with Mayfair have been more than exceptional. The office is a bit spartan but, provides a great service for a reasonable price. The staff has always been helpful and courteous and Dr. B is terrific by spending time explaining what is going on and the best way to care for the animal. Good Vet I just got home from my visit to Mayfair. They were very polite and friendly and sounded knowledgeable. They were very sweet to my pets and finished my visit in a timely manner. It does get a little packed on Saturday but overall it was a pleasant experience.
Mayfair John Young Pet Hosp is good for me and my pets I have been going to Mayfair for years with all of my animals. Cats, dogs, rabbits. They are the best and very attentive. The cost if the best part for my budget! I even had my mom switch from Boggy Creek to Mayfair and she loves them as well. I do agree that sometimes their staff seems less knowledgeable about certain things but all in all.. I think they are wonderful!
Worst clinic ever! Not worth saving the extra $$$ I used to go here because it was cheap for my dogs shots. But dont go here for any other reason..The vet barely even touches the dog . I came here because my dog had an allergy problem and the medicine didnt work, I brought him back and he tried giving me the same medicine?! I changed vets and found out he has a skin condition and needs surgery because he has cataracts . Why didnt the previous vet know this?
