We've been a longtime supporter of Colorado Distilleries and have a huge selection of locally made spirits. While this liquor store may have a wide assortment of alcohol, the manager is extremely rude! I had my wallet stolen with my debit card. Someone went into Mayfair Liquors and purchase over $150 worth of goods. I went into the store to find out how that had happened. Don't they check IDs? Wouldn't they look at the signature (especially on a transaction over $100 and see that the two didn't match). The manager told me I was being rude to ask and told me to leave. Great selection of beers and wines. Good value wines available. Long time family ownership. Very knowledgeable staff on wines and beers. Many micro beers available.
Unbelievably knowledgeable about their products, stellar customer service, central location, and a healthy dose of community involvement make this one of the best liquor stores in Denver. I've bought here for the last 24 years and I don't plan on switching.
