That place has alotta grumpy employees who like to be short and snippy with me. I try to avoid conversation because they are always such pricks it's unbelievable what a hard time I get from them. Pissy, not-friendly, snarky. I never write these kind of reviews... I tried them again today and again... Never fails. They are just plain miserable people goto the box store and get treated better.
it sucks that I need to go purchase a socket set and tool box, and while living walking distance to Meyer, I have to drive to Lowes or run the risk of having employees mock my friends, not wear masks, lie to me about stock and be generally unhelpful while management condones it. I don't expect a business to share my ideals, but I do expect them to treat customers and neighbors with respect and decency. this place does neither.
RecommendedBegan to shop here when we lived up the street over 30 years ago. Great store then and even better now. We still own the wheelbarrow we purchased. Recently during the “covid summer” we took our house screens to get re-done. Amazing work and reasonable prices. They always seem to have that latest & greatest things with staff who always ready to help. Masks on, yet smiling eyes. Thank you for staying open and being a safe place to shop.
Amazing, unmatched customer service. Was helped by a young, well-spoken gentleman. They were able to answer all of my questions and make recommendations. Have always, and will always recommend Mayer’s to friends and family.
employees are unprofessional and mock customers based on their opinions.
masks aren't worn by staff and they are vocal about their political leanings and are very unprofessionsl. Do not shop here, they don't treat people with the respect they deserve.

employees do t wear masks, and often seen mocking customers for political leanings, often with racist overtones. management seems to allow and cultivate this.
