Update: Kevin, a manager, unexpectedly reached out and apologized for the miscommunication/ mistakes and offered to rectify the situation by bringing back the leftover sod to finish the remaining areas. He was very sincere and professional and I really appreciated it. I have had the worst of luck with contractors recently and probably should increase rating to 4 stars, but Kevin going the extra steps put me is much better mood. Mayer was one of the companies that contacted me through my request with Super Sod. I didn’t do any research, so this is on me. Two major complaints. First is that the sod didn’t go all the way to the edging. There was obviously a misunderstanding here about why my painted lines meant, but why would they make this assumption and not ask for clarification? Second, I specifically said that I wanted sod around the swing set if there was anything left over. There was more than half a pallet left over, which they just took and po... read more
Clay and the team took our yard from Struggle to Spectacular! The pricing was fair, the quality of the work exceptional. And a month after the sod install, Clay is still in touch, checking to see that everything is growing in the way it should. I *highly* recommend them. They'll be handling our shrub install in the fall!
Thank you to the whole Mayer team for your wonderful work and communication during our outdoor renovation. Our outdoor spaces look amazing. We appreciate the ongoing maintenance and support as well to keep the turf and plants healthy!
