Dr. Mayeda came to my rescue when I was struggling with a severe case of Mountain Sickness. He brought his mobile clinic into my hotel room and provided the breathing treatment, oxygen, and fluids I needed. "Dr. Doug" not only cared for me well from a medical standpoint, but also demonstrated a genuine concern for me personally. He was truly concerned for my health and well-being and treated me as a friend!
