This was our first ever "Escape Room". We did the "Butcher Shop" and what a experience it was. Tim the owner did a fantastic job explaining the process and the subtle hints on the walkie-talkie made our experience enjoyable. Not knowing what to expect we fumbled our way through the process and completed the assigned task in a bit over time but we did it with only a bit of help from Tim & Staff. Very enjoyable time spent and well worth the price. Set on the grounds of the old Beechworth Asylum.
Ohh boy...These escape rooms are incredible. They are fun, interactive and challenging but not impossible. Take it from someone who was not interested in escape rooms to being full on addicted and a repeat customer. Thanks Mayday Hills you were amazing.
Just brilliant! I’ve done all three escape rooms and they are absolutely fantastic. Set within the grounds of the old Beechworth asylum it really uses the spaces well and is full of atmosphere and the owners have designed great games utilising the original buildings so well. The owners are lovely, very friendly and very accommodating (we accidentally booked the wrong date & they changed it with no hassle). If you enjoy escape rooms then put these on your to do list.
It took me ages to convince my husband to try an escape room — and now he’s absolutely hooked! We did The Pharmacy escape room, and the fact that it’s set in the historical asylum makes the experience so much more immersive. It’s got that perfectly spooky vibe from the moment you step through the gates. We did the butcher shop and really liked it. A friendly team looks after you. Immersive, strong story line, excellent puzzles with great, realistic effects and a generally more unusual theme. Think Curium. Some minor issues with calibration wasted a few minutes, so if you think you got it but "computer says no" best check with the game host via walkie talkie.
