Nice new homes with a beautiful view
The woman I spoke to in the office was incredibly smug. I’m not sure I’ve ever encountered someone as abrasive as this. She attempted to deny and deflect when asked about the landfill reopening. When I drove through the area all of Stewartstown was covered in “oppose the landfill” signs. Friends have warned me about Richmond being a giant corporation that didn’t care about the people. There’s also a drug store a block away catering to Kratom users which are essentially opiate addicts. Scary. Buyer beware.
Called and spoke with them the other day. These people are absolutely attempting to conceal the fact that the homes they’re selling will have a view of a landfill very soon. Half a mile down plank rd a giant landfill is about to reopen. Lady on the phone couldn’t care less. Very smug attitude and said something like “we only have 15 homes left then we’re out of here”.
They won’t tell you this but the landfill on plank road not even a mile away is in the process of reopening. The visibility map posted by York County Solid waste authority clearly shows this land as being able to view the landfill from their homes. Mayberry should be fighting this and should be more honest with potential home buyers. It took a lot of My time researching the area to understand this.
