The female that greeted us at the door was a bit snarky bordering rude, the waiter, however was great. This is not an accessible restaurant lots of stairs. Make a reservation for sure. I had the fried catfish, oysters, mashed potatoes and green beans. Absolutely amazing. Catfish was succulent, tender and crisp at the same time, not over breaded not dry, no hot sauce or anything needed. Mashed potatoes I could have swam in thwm they were so good and had a touch of rosemary. Green beans seasoned to perfection.
Excellent Food, Drink and Service .. Congenial Atmosphere .. I just had dessert and a glass of wine but food was excellent based on my observations
Trout is exceptionally good. Everyone there exceedingly friendly
Highly recommend!! Great food! Remarkable staff and the bar is very well stocked. Ted, knows how to tend his bar the old school way. Thanks!! The atmosphere is very open and I was fortunate to be there on Thursday night for live music with Danny Beirne!!! Look him up and you'll see!! Celebrating 20 years in May!! I'll definitely be back until they call me a regular.
