The doctor and staff are nice. The first few visits I had a copayment and I thought nothing of it because my deductible IS high. Then I noticed I had gotten billed from the insurance an amount I had paid them in the office already for an imaging procedure, I called the insurance, they hadn’t reported the payment so I was going to end up paying twice. DR. Munarova beside manner is horrible i went in to see her this week and the first words that come out her mouth is why do you have this insurance she doesnt ask what is the reason for my visit she doesnt go over the bloodwork I took a month before doesnt go over the sonogram i am 23 weeks pregnant I tell her i am sick she doesnt take the proper blood test for that or tell me what type of blood work i am taking and whats it for. Dont waste your time.
Their doctors are friendly, but their system is not good at all. Their credit card machine has been broken for months, and asking people to pay by cash or Zelle is extremely inconvenient, especially since most insurance plans offer HSA cards. I’ve been through this issue four times already, and I think that’s too much. It takes 90 days for insurance to reimburse your money, and since most ultrasounds cost $200-$350, I don’t think patients deserve this kind of service. I started coming to the doctor at 8 or 9 weeks they did blood work urine test and sonogram, from that first visit no one communicated with me about my pregnancy especially the tech I had to wait two weeks later when I asked questions and the new tech mentioned she assumed I’m having a miscarriage due to my sac being empty. Nice office and all but not well communicated. The doctor asked if I was bleeding and I said I started spotting and all was said if any clots go to the er no referral no medication nothing. Dr maya and staff are nice and caring, however the ultrasound tech is rude and uncaring. I’ve gotten one good picture of my baby this whole pregnancy, according to them the pictures aren’t covered by insurance and when I asked for a referral to a different sonogram they recommended I go on Instagram to find a place and pay out of pocket because the doctor won’t refer for this services.
