I cannot recommend this bike shop more! I purchased an electric bike from bluejay bikes not realizing it would arrive unassembled. I was able to have the bike delivered to May Street and they not only assembled the bike, they helped with getting damaged parts replaced and reinstalled along with delivering the final product to my house! They kindly answered all my annoying questions about its use and maintenance. They definitely go above and beyond! Thank you, Thank you 😊
Great little shop. Had a flat fat frank on the rear wheel of my retrovelo, was turned around the next day despite it being no rush. Fixed the wonky disc brake on the same wheel, too. Very reasonable rates, no inflated city-style prices here. Great selection on kid and adult bikes, I’m definitely going to be back!
Was not friendly nor competent in his services. Brought my 87' Schwinn in for a comprehensive tune-up, thumb shifter, and rear derailleur replacement. Upon receipt of my bicycle both tires were deflated, indicating the bicycle was not test ridden (stress tested) to confirm his repair. Also, the shifting was not fully operational.
Greg fixed up both my and my husband's road bikes after some bad mechanical experiences at a shop in Virginia. He did quick, quality work and my bike felt like NEW after he finished. The shop immediately feels like home to any rider, and bonus for being dog friendly. Love that Greg supports the veteran community in the area, and always remembers my name! This is the best bike shop in the area by far (Fayetteville included).
