Lots of drapery and Intentionally dim lighting, which set the mood, but may be challenging for those who are visually impaired to look at the menu. Staff is exceptionally nice! Nice comfortable booths that provide a sense of privacy. High bar stools. The bar is divided from the restaurant but seating is available in either area. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand. Worth the ferry ride.
The food was very interesting and different from Seattle’s version of Thai. But our highlight was our server and bartender Calliope. She was amazing, gave excellent recommendations and was there when we needed her and otherwise gave us the privacy.
After we ordered, we waited for an hour and twenty minutes for our food! The waitress was lovely and kind, but her apology included excuses about handling so many takeout orders. We had a reservation and we have three kids. The table next to us had younger kids and they got their food before us even though we were there and ordered well before they arrived. We won't be coming back. Takeout orders should not come before seated customers!
