Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience with Maxx Car Rental. We rented a vehicle for our Quebec trip, and from the very first day the headlights were not working properly. Unfortunately, the problems only got worse. On May 18 near Mont-Tremblant, one of the tires went completely flat around 10 AM. The tire was not simply punctured, the sidewall was completely torn/blown out, making the vehicle undrivable and raising serious concerns about the condition and maintenance of the rental vehicle. Maxx Rental Car is one of the best options in Toronto for 12 seater vans. We have rented with them in several occasions when we have family visiting the city and always have received a great service. In Maxx Rental Car their vehicles are clean and in good condition, and the staff are always friendly, polite, very knowledgeable, extremely efficient and provide an outstanding customer service. Many thanks to the manager and the entire team for your wonderful care! They definitely deserve five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was by far the worst rental car experience we have ever had. I am just giving 1 star because i did not have an option to give negative rating. The vehicle already had issues since the first day the headlights did not work, and things only got worse from there. During our 3-day long weekend trip, one tire suddenly went completely flat. Rented a Ford Transit 12 seater van for a trip we booked last minute. Maxx rentals was Very accommodating and the experience was seamless. Picked up the van and was surprised to find it almost brand new and very clean. Highly recommended.
Absolutely terrible and unsafe experience with Maxx Rentals. We rented a car for 3 days, and the problems started from Day 1 itself. The car was making weird noises from the beginning, and at night the front lights were not working properly. We literally had to hold the light toggle continuously just to keep the headlights on while driving. Imagine how dangerous and stressful that is for the person who is driving, especially at night.
