EXTREAMELY POOR SERVICE This place has always charged me different rates for the same shirts and pants that i have been given them for months. Every time i ask why the difference they always tell me that the person who entered in the computer made a mistake. Truth to the matter is that they dont even know what to charge you and they will make a guess. You will not get honest service, or a manager to help you with your questions. I will never go back there again.

Overcharged and no one to help I had something repaired at Maxwell The Cleaner in San Rafael and was TOTALLY overcharged. I had asked for a price PRIOR to having it fixed but the only call I received was telling me the item was fixed and the price AFTER the fact. The manager was of NO help and I have called to talk to the owner 7 times. I have this all documented but cannot get ANY help because he won't call me back. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING because if you have a problem they do not care!

Clean laundry I've been using Maxwell The Cleaner for a couple of years now and have been very happy with their service. Their location is very convenient because I can drop off my clothes on my way to work in the morning and pick them up on my way home from work. Friendly staff too.

Beware - Unprofessional Service Maxwell the Cleaner Mill Valley Although I was a regular customer at the Mill Valley Maxwell the Cleaner since they opened, my recent experience was unacceptable. I have attempted to sort out the difficulties with the "manager" who is at another location, but this person has been hostile and unprofessional in the extreme. I had a very inexpensive, child's item dry cleaned and the price on it when I went to pick it up was exhorbitant - over $70 for something that originally cost less than $35. ... read more
