This was my first massage at Maxwell and Alison was amazing! She checked for clarity with my intake paper work and asked me a few more questions. Once she was hands on, she was incredibly knowledgeable about my body mechanics and intuitive about how much pressure to apply. Great massage!
Lauren is the best. She is able to find my pain spots, some that I am not even aware of, and work on them with the perfect amount of pressure. Her and Olivia both are super attentive when listening to what and where your aches are and I highly recommend either of them.
I have seen Alison Post for years for a neck injury from a car accident as well as for work related stresses and injuries. I have seen many massage therapist over the decades since the car accident and Alison has been one of the best I have seen with particularly good technique for my chronic neck condition, alleviating pain. A bonus that she has been becoming a skilled hair designer and colorist. I, now, make a point of scheduling with Alison for both hair and massage.
Olivia is an extremely skilled practitioner. I’m a massage therapist myself, and I can say with authority she’s one of the best in the city. She’s warm, kind, and professional. She has enthusiasm for massage work and knows how to make changes to bodies with a touch that’s gentle but effective. I enjoyed my session with her immensely. FYI I have very high standards! I’ve had countless massages around the world and Lauren is truly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Her technique flows effortlessly, and she finds and works out knots at their core. I’ve been seeing her biweekly for back and neck issues, and each session brings real relief and helps me move toward recovery. I’m so grateful to have found her, and to have Maxwell nearby!!
