Just picked up a Velotric Fold 1 plus from this shop. Prior to my final choice, I made a few calls to the shop with questions. I was provide a very friendly experience over the phone and in person. I was able to test the bike I wanted prior to purchase. The whole experience was pleasant and friendly. Yes there is a fee for using a credit card, but I am happy to support a local shop that offers what I want, lets me test it, and can provide guidance whenever needed. I highly recommend this shop. The customer service at Max’s Electric Bike was excellent. They made the whole process easy, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
I’m disappointed with my experience at this shop. I purchased an Aventon Soltera 2.5 on July 26, and only later discovered a $42.93 fee for using a credit card—something that was never clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Within just two weeks, I had issues with the bike and had to bring it back for repairs. To make matters worse, Aventon began offering a $200 discount on new Soltera 2.5 purchases shortly after mine, but the shop owner refused to honor it—even though my bike was still practically brand new and alrea... read more
