We went to Maxmar to have our mast shortened. They did an excellent job coordinating with the boat yard and communicated with me throughout the process. Romaine walked me through the process of prepping the boat for unstepping the mast and explained the mast cutting process in detail. The whole process went relatively smoothly.
SIX STARS!!!! Max was prompt , Efficient, courteous , took the time to explain everything in detail and send me pics. He was able to get out to get my work done quickly. Very professional and trustworthy. I would definitely use him again.
I recently came into charlston on my sailboat due to rough conditions on the Atlantic. When getting ready to leave Anchorage my windlass failed. Gearbox had seized and overworked the electric motor which smelt burnt .Romain helped me decide on best suited new windlass, advice on my currant wiring to windlass and answered multiple questions (about 30) over a 2 week span . Cannot recommend this company enough! Very responsive and such quick service! My Simrad system kicked the bucket and they ordered me a new Simrad (I spoiled myself and upgraded boat speakers too) and they had everything installed within 5 days of first addressing the problem and they came to me! Definitely use this company for any electrical boat work you may need!
