Great customer service!
Steer clear, Maximus unable to clear funds for check day of closing. No previous written communication to Seller, Buyer or Liberty Title. Very poor PR and business ethics. The owner, Brad, advised JP Morgan/Chase Bank he doesn't approve funding release till the end of the business day of closing. Begs the question, "WHY?" I've sold & purchased numerous properties but have never experienced a "title company" unable to release funds for a check the day of closing. Glad my company, as the seller, was LIBERTY TITLE.
I'm not sure if Brad is a one man band or what, but he definitely didn't dot the i's and cross the t's. Title companies have to pay attention to ALL of the details or they cost people time and money.
