Me and my sister, Armine Darbinyan and Nune Darbinian, would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Gluhovsky and his group for treatment of our mother, Ofelia Darbinyan. He performed a TAVR procedure on our mother. It is difficult to find words to describe how thankful we are: we understand how difficult it was to operate on our 86 year old mother and appreciate greatly Dr. Gluhovsky’s professionalism and his human qualities, his gentle and delicate firmness and decisiveness. I first met Dr. Gluhovsky on a Thursday after an exploration procedure for the placement of a non evasive TVAR due to a severe Aortic Stenosis, during the procedure it was discovered that I had serious artery blockage and needed to have a triple bypass as well as the replacement of the Aortic Valve. Dr.Gluhovsky is definitely the best doctor / surgeon I could have had! He took his time to get to know me & my history. He explains every part of what he’s going to do , answers every question & listens and addresses every concern. He checked on me every day leading to surgery and after surgery. He’s a doctor that truly cares and you can tell! He never made me feel like I was bothering him or like he was rushing to get to the next patient. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else!
Things happen so fast but I was thoroughly informed I had aortic valve replacement along with that he also needed to remove a portion of my lung that was cancer I was a bad patient in the hospital but Dr was very patient and kind with me he spent a lot of time explaining coming to my room after surgery checking on me I really appreciate his kindness and his expertise and what he did I'm still not 100% but I'm very happy with my treatment would highly recommend
Dr. Gluhovsky is an excellent Heart Surgeon. He recently performed my triple bypass surgery. He spends time to thoroughly explain every aspect of what he is going to do and also what to expect from the procedure. He answers all questions and encourages you to ask them, you never get the feeling he is rushing to get to his next patient. You definitely have his undivided attention.
