Prior to my appointment I read some of the reviews. Of course I walked into my appointment with an open mind and a kind attitude. I was met by a receptionist who had no customer service skills. I walk in, say hi and compliment how great the office looked and smelled. She didn't so much as say hi, just asked for my info, gave me my paperwork and sent me off. So much for comfort! Sorry Doctor, you have yourself a rude female receptionist. My apologies, I’m not going to give her that benefit of being called any names, forgive me. Very unprofessional. Try taking a customer service lesson or try putting Jesus in your life and maybe your work day and life mite be a bit more polite. Dr. Spektor may be straight to the point and no non sense with his bedside manner but he is a skilled surgeon. As a Nurse Practitioner I am always skeptical about bringing my family to Hi Deser Medical Center. I even told myself that IF my mom needed surgery, I would sign her out AMA and head down to the low desert. But, we didn't. And? I'm glad we didn't. Dr Spektor found and corrected a very rare and serious (potentially life threatening issue) issue within my mom's intestines. He moved quickly and advocated for my mother ... read more
Dr. Spektor is amazing. Very professional and extremely gifted with his abilities. David and Renee, in the office are amazing! Highly recommend!
Dr. Spektor went above and beyond to help me. The staff are amazing also.
