This contractor started working before any agreement was in place. Then Roman made me pay for the work we never agreed upon.

Illegal businesses practices. Stay away so you don't have to file a lawsuit against Roman. Roman is extremely unresponsive and the company as a whole aren't all on the same page with who's in charge or what's going on. Roman authorized work that was not authorized by the homeowner or the property management company. His workers said he usually tells them to go ahead and start working without a contract in place since he thinks he's going to get the contract from the customer.
