5 stars from me, it was popping. I got the beef / wontons and both are tender, plump, packed with flavor especially the broth. However I gotta give the curry fish balls a low score. It was hella whack haha. Lacked flavor imo. There the heck is the curry sauce??? But overall had a good experience. I will come back for sure for their wontons!!
So this is not my first time at Maxie’s . I have been here at this particular one Everytime because of its location right off the LIE on Main St. let’s just start with the wonton noodle soup, my experience tells me the soup base is loaded with shrimp, maybe dried shrimp or scallops and definitely some bones.
