I don’t recommend this company at all. They trick you into a long term contract and when you want to cancel they want to charge for the length of the contract. Customer service manager is a very rude and disrespectful person. Please stay away form this company.
Awful service, had to pay for a service that I tried to cancel for over a year. Not sure what they monitor exactly so don’t get tricked through your builder like we did! Anyone you speak to at this company gives you the run around and accounting is super rude.

I have had many issues with MaxGuard over the past couple of years. When I was on vacation my neighbour from across the street called to advise me my alarm had been going off for an hour. Maxguard did nothing about it and did not notify me. Then, I changed my internet provider and my alarm went down. A technician attended my home (without an appointment) and could not resolve the issue within the hour he was there. Very disappointing at every level. Don't waste your time or pin your hopes on service, honesty, or real concern. Numerous requests were unattended to, attention to problems came in spurts, problems were not thoroughly solved, no follow up, and money that does not belong to the company but to the customer was not returned. Little or no attempt to make things right given numerous opportunities and enormous patience.
