I was a member at Planet Fitness; However I had become increasingly frustrated with the “social scene” it appeared to be instead of a gym. MaxFit was recommended to me by several people so I decided to check it out. Turns out, it was a real gym, not a social club with some gym equipment. Don’t get me wrong, people are certainly friendly at MaxFit, but they also have the courtesy to leave you to your workout and they don’t sit on gym equipment forever and a day while they doom scroll their phones.
