Just got a pair of custom True's fitted today at Max's. The staff are absolute experts plus the gear and accessories in store are second to none. Will be my main hockey shop from now on.
After having the same pair of skates for about a decade, I was reluctant to retire them, as last time the process was such a headache. Andrew, the owner, was exceptional! He took the time on two occasions to fit me and even ordered in a size of skates to make sure I was completely satisfied. He spent the time to explain the differences between models, sizes, and brands. He understood the way the skate fit was important to me and how it had been an issue for me in the past.
