I bought a Mazda 3 Hatchback and paid the full price upfront including transforing of car ownership to my name but after so many months they didn't do it. The reason they told me is the owner didn't do it yet due to some personal issues. Owner of the car said he didn't commit anything about transferring and paying for it.
