From Ohio over the phone We have a student at KSU and live 800 miles away. Had to have 2015 Explorer sunroof fixed The sunroof stuck open because of a failed motor. Just asked service to have the sunroof closed. They did exactly that. Was scheduled for a Tuesday morning and they were able to squeeze it in on Monday afternoon and get it taken care of. Took truck to dealer with coolant leak. The leak had been diagnosed at Firestone. Dealer had truck 8 weeks kept claiming there was no leak. You could smell antifreeze burning when truck started. I took truck to Valor Ford and they found leak and repaired it in 1 day. Would not recommend this dealer for any service work.
Please be cautious when doing business here. I heard bad things when it was under Max Motors, but was hoping since they were under new ownership as Manhattan Ford they had changed. That is not the case, I took my vehicle in for some Ford warranty work, And confirmed over the phone that the warranty work would be covered by Ford at no cost to me. Every experience at this location has been bad. First was my truck shuttering and clacking loudly when I started it. I brought my truck in and they reprogrammed the computer. It didn’t go away so I brought it back and they said that it was normal for the truck to do that. It really seemed excessive so I brought it in a 3rd time. They said it was the cam phasers, about $3500 repair. Great dealership. Tyson went way above and beyond to take care of me in my truck purchase. Him and the entire sales team were extremely helpful, friendly, and all seriously went above and beyond to sell a quality truck at a good price. I will be coming back for my next vehicle and referring my friends who are in the market. 11/10 would recommend
