I had a car loan with Max Credit Union. Paid car notes all through the Pandemic for 3 years. Things started to slow down at my job so I was told to make $100 more than usual payments to catch up a few payments . Never received a receipt for payments and was forced to rely on their honesty and integrity. One month I was caught up next month I was 3 to 4 months behind. I have covid. I called customer service to make a wire transfer, instead I was met with a manager (******) that did not want to do her job and tried to get me off the phone. After, I told her I would go through the extensive process. She deemed to present another obstacle. I asked, to speak to a call quality specialist to make a complaint. Today I have made the decision to stop services with Max Credit union I have been banking with them since I was 16 now Im 38. Today I was talked to like a child by the *** of the company. I simply called about my password needing to be changed to my online banking an was told my checking account was in the negative an was charged off as of today. They systematically pretend not to receive, lose, or hold in some sort of limbo online Bill *** checks.... and then assess you late fees. So basically they won't accept Bill *** payments in a timely manner which, in 2023 is sketchy. If they don't have technology, they shouldn't be selling mortgages. Also there IS NO NUMBER POSTED to contact the mortgage department when yet again your payment check hasn't been cashed. It's A Credit Union (not a bank) MAX Credit Union has always been here for me. I've financed two auto loan and two credit cards through them. I am always impressed with the was they work for the member. And yes, we are MEMBERS, not guests, not customers, and not clients. We are members of the credit union, and we are treated as such. I will definately recommend MAX to anyone searching for a financial institution, and I hope you do too!
Great Bank My family has been banking with Max for as long as I can remember, and since I opened my own account in 1999, I have not had the first problem with them. Employees are always courteous and I love the utilization of technology at the Vaughn and Taylor branch.
MAX IS A GREAT BANK**** We have always had an account with Max. When we moved out of the area for a year, we had to switch banks for our checking account, and was not near as happy with the new bank. We have always financed our cars through Max. They have great rates and a nice staff. Their loan process is very simple and quick. I would recommend all the way around.
Max Federal Credit Union It is a great bank. Much better rates on accounts than regular banks. The have great service and the new bank on Taylor Road is different in the way they look and operates than other banks. They greet you at the door and offer you water or coffee.
Your Next Bank Now this is my bank. You can open a savings account with only 5 dollars, and they will not penalize you for not touching the money. I've been with them now for years and I wouldn't switch for the world.
