As a cancer patient at UVA undergoing chemotherapy that can affect my heart, I was referred to Dr. Luna after experiencing some concerning episodes. He was kind, thorough, and genuinely listened to my concerns without making me feel rushed. He took the time to carefully review my EKG and echocardiogram, explaining everything in a clear and reassuring way. I truly appreciate his kindness and the time he spent with me. Highly recommend this doctor :)
I had a Terrible experience with this cardiologist and do not recommend him. Uncaring and unprofessional, I found his comments and demeanor inappropriate in my opinion, and the nurse named Karen Murray who took me in was also incredibly rude.
Doctor Luna does not care for the individual patient. He does not listen to the patient or respect the patient's ideas or even ask for his questions. He gives orders and that's it. No explanation or discussion.
