Once again another deceptive practice by an auto center my teenage daughter's car was brought in for 40 min. $35.00 safety inspection she only had it a year They said it needed new tires and wipers 3 & 1/2 hours and $170.00 later she got her inspection. With 35 years experience as a vehicle owner I never had a car of any kind need tires or wipers in a year and when asked how much for the wiper blades the reply was $20.00 we'll give you a break at $18.00 intentionally not saying it was PER BLADE they charged $36.00!! Do not like customers that know what they are talking abou – Bought 4 tires from them. They wore before the expected mileage expired. Called and talk to the rep- was told that there is no such thing is pro rating on tires. Gave phone to my husband ( I am female)…… guess what, magically enough rep right away agreed that tires will be pro-rated…… Some mechanics just cannot handle customers that know what they are talking about…
