Phil is a great manager over there at Mavis. He is willing to help with issues and answer any questions without making you feel dumb. And with guys like Wayne in the shop working on the cars you know you are in good hands. No complaints from me only good experiences.
I purchased four brand new tires on Fri., 4/13/12 at Mavis in Long Beach. I also purchased the hazard warranty on each tire. A mile after I drove away I heard a rattling sound on the passenger side for a couple of seconds. I drove around the block to see what may have caused the sound and found a measuring tool for tires on the side of the road. Stay away! Dangerous! Rip offs! These people simply don't know what they are doing. They sold me tires and the Mexican there could not figure out how to balance. The boss kept telling him "good enough" though he was all messed up. As it turned out, they were so out of balance that it cost me $60 to have another garage balance them. STAY AWAY! These people are plain DANGEROUS!!
scam!! I brought my car into mavis for an alignment, because my mechanic was to busy.. They told me i needed new brakes and that my roaters were "Not really but kinda need to be replaced." I had just had my breaks done a few months before;so i told them it was ok to replace just the break pads because of there wear and tear. My brakes were fine before after i had left my breaks made an awful sqeeking noise and they said there not responsible unless i change my roaters. I will never go back there.
