I’m so disappointed. I went in for a Brazilian Blowout but what they gave me feels more like Keratin and my scalp and ears have erupted into dermatitis patches (which is why I stay away from Keratin treatments). I was even instructed not to wash my hair for 72 hours which is a hallmark of a keratin treatment. I also left with my hair, feeling very heavy, thick, dry, and full of product…again, it feels like a keratin treatment. I’ve been coming to Mavi for 3 years now and Meredith is the best! I’ve gone light, gone dark, gotten bangs (after lots of pleading) and done a chop and it’s all looked gorgeous. I always feel so beautiful after leaving. I completely trust her and can’t recommend the salon and Meredith enough.
I am genuinely so happy to write this review because this group of ladies went above and beyond for me. I walked in with an inspiration photo and realistic expectations — Brianna explained that reaching that exact level of brightness might take time, but we could absolutely start moving in the right direction. I had my hair dyed by Brianna and she was so sweet and got my hair exactly how I envisioned it! The pictures don't do it justice. (Don't judge the curls or photo skills I did them myself)
