I have had extremely disappointing experiences with Maverick. Asking to be put in a waitlist a number of times, but never being put on it, not having any follow up. When confronted about this, I was gaslit. Gaslighting from mental health professionals als is abhorrent. I do not typically leave reviews for services I have not personally used; however, given that this is a psychology practice, I believe this feedback may be important for prospective clients. In my experience, contacting the practice and attempting to establish care as a new client has been extremely difficult. I initially reached out to Maverick last year through multiple channels and received only an unclear response email suggesting that they might not be accepting new clients at the time. I have felt satisfied working with the people at Maverick. They try their best to accommodate schedules and are very quick when it comes to addressing concerns. Unfortunately, I have been through 3 therapists since I have been there. My one daughter has been through 2 and my youngest is on her 3rd. It seems that longevity with Maverick is lacking. I wonder why therapists do not stay long term.
