Dr Maus is a a wonderful doctor. My family has been going to him for almost 30 years. He takes his time with visits and is very through. We will miss him when he retires.
My father had a lump on his neck in a high lymph node area for 5 years and Dr. Maus simply chalked it up to a lipoma (a benign fatty mass) every year that my dad went in for his annual check-up. No biopsy, no referral to a specialist. It wasn't until an NP told my dad to demand a biopsy that Dr. Maus took any action. Results came back as stage 4 head and neck cancer. My dad is now dead due to complications related to his head and neck cancer. I feel this all could have been avoided and my father would still be alive to this ... read more
