I’m sure Maurices tells their salespeople to be aggressive with sales, but not understanding fashion and bodies is problematic. If a person tried on a bootcut style pant and felt it was too tight and made small, don’t then suggest they try on the “skinny jeans” version of the same pant. If the looser style pant is too tight and uncomfortable, the skinny jeans style will be twice so. There’s something to be said for just allowing people to shop and try on what they want, not what the salesperson wants to sell.
I love this store. It is very relaxed shopping, yet staff are very helpful and knowledgeable
