In 2001 I had surgery by an orthopedic surgeon in order to rectify sciatica pain that was getting progressively worse since 1996. After that surgery I had absolutely no relief. It was tolerable until 2005 when I was 21 and the pain became tremendously worse to the point where I could not stand without excruciating pain. I went to Dr. Maurice Smith at this point.
