If by some miracle someone answers the phone, then consider yourself lucky. I could never get someone to answer to schedule an appt so I had to schedule online. Scheduled for a month later. 4 days before the appointment i received text saying they need copied of xrays and MRI on a physical disk which of course I dont have. So i called again, sat on hold for 9 minutes before anyone answered only to be told I would have to go and physically pick up copies and drive it to them. Goins Would not issue pain meds to my wife post SI surgery, the nurse told me it was against the law. After several phone calls the "law" changed to the surgeon felt uncomfortable due to her being under the care of pain management and we should follow up with them. Spoke with her pain management and they only treat her for chronic pain (she is treated there for 3 previous lumber fusions) they do NOT treat acute pain, which is this SI surgery. i could...i will give him no stars. About 6 months ago I took my mom with him because of a recommendation from another doctor who said he was a great doctor. Well, I took her with him a couple of times and some of them..he didnt even show up and they didnt took the time to give us a call so we wouldn't drive so far. He clearly said to my mom she could have surgery in one of her appointments...but that he wanted for her to try physical therapy and more injections for pain...and he said that if that didnt help, he would start ... read more

Dr. Goins seems personable and knowledgeable but I didn't feel as though he had any interest in actually being a part of my follow up and longterm care. His staff is equally detached and not very helpful. Pretty distressful for me as I now have to start my search for a physician all over again.
