This was my first visit with Dr Ginsburg and I found her to be very attentive and thorough as we discussed the symptoms of my pain. She took time to describe options for treatment and to answer my questions. I found her to be caring and not rushing me through the visit. I was pleased with her support staff as well.
Gave me medical trauma and PTSD. Kicked me out because I got cough medicine for my bronchitis. I wasn’t even taking medications with her. Made me feel like a criminal or a bad human.
Easily offended by questions not meant to be offensive (though maybe it's because I have Asperger's and didn't ask it right), punishes patients when offended. Office staff refused to view evidence that I didn't schedule the appointment and that the people who did schedule the appointment (a specialist's office) were assured that she did do what they were sending me there for (she didn't). Maureen is an excellent listener. Tries to provide alternative treatments when possible but willing to prescribe small courses of pain meds when indicated. I switched practices because I had a surgery and was in excruciating pain. But when you call you cannot speak to anyone in person it goes straight to voicemail and they said they will get back to you in 72 hours. Well not all pain is chronic pain. Scheduling is very easy. She works with my orthopedic doctor on managing my chronic back pain. Very thorough. Very gentle and understanding.
